The Director General of Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Syed Shujaat Hussain, recently underscored the significance of collaborative efforts to strengthen the financial stability of KDA, which plays a crucial role in the construction and development of Karachi. This emphasis came to light during a meeting with a delegation from the House Building Finance Department (HBFD) at the Civic Center office. The discussions primarily centered around addressing shared concerns and fortifying relationships. Notably, the HBFD delegation assured prompt settlement of maintenance and other pending payments owed to KDA.

Key attendees at the meeting included Member Admin Naveed Anwar Siddiqui, Legal Advisor KDA Syed Zahid Ali, Director State Arshad Abbas, Executive Engineer Civic Center Building, and other officials. Furthermore, the Sindh Minister for Local Government, Housing Town Planning, and Public Health Engineering reiterated the government's steadfast support in empowering KDA as a robust civic entity in Karachi. This commitment was made during a meeting with the KDA Labour Union delegation, led by Muhammad Ashraf, focusing on issues related to the KDA's land department.

In a significant move, the Sindh Local Government Minister announced intentions to kickstart the promotion process for KDA officers and staff to the next service grade. He pledged immediate intervention by the Sindh government to tackle pressing challenges faced by KDA employees. The minister also lauded the tireless endeavors of the PPP's Sindh government in propelling progress and development in Karachi, emphasizing a commitment to impartiality and inclusivity.
