SOUEAST Launches Smart Premium D-Class SUV S09 in Uzbekistan

On September 26, 2024, SOUEAST made a significant mark in the automotive world by launching its flagship model, the Smart Premium D-Class SUV S09, during a grand ceremony in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This event not only showcased the S09 to a global audience for the first time but also marked the beginning of pre-sales in Uzbekistan. The name 'S09' stands for 'SOUL KNIGHT,' which reflects the vehicle's elegance and ambition, much like a knight in shining armor.

The S09 is designed to appeal to families who prioritize quality, individuality, and smart driving experiences. With its bold and dynamic aesthetic, the SUV maintains a family-friendly approach. Measuring 4858mm in length, 1925mm in width, and 1780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm, the S09 is crafted with golden proportions that give it a smooth and elegant appearance. It offers six paint color options, allowing users to choose combinations that suit their personal style.

At the front, the S09 features a dignified and modern look, highlighted by a continuous LED headlight and a U-shaped grille adorned with 222 individual LED lights. Performance-wise, the S09 offers multiple powertrain combinations, including a 1.6T engine paired with a 7DCT transmission and a more powerful 2.0T engine available with either a 7DCT or 8AT transmission. Notably, the PHEV version, known as the S09DM, was also launched simultaneously. This version features a high-efficiency hybrid engine with a thermal efficiency of 44.5% and dual-motor drive technology, delivering impressive power with a maximum motor output of 199kW and peak torque of 395N•m. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds, making it a thrilling ride.

The S09 is equipped with a smart cockpit powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, which includes a voice control system supporting six languages. It also offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancing the smart driving experience. Safety is a priority, with 16 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), ensuring safe long-distance travel.
