Suki Kinari Hydropower Project Achieves Reliability Run Test Milestone

The Suki Kinari Hydropower Project, a significant venture under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), has recently achieved a crucial milestone by successfully completing its Reliability Run Test (RRT). This decision comes after an initial trip in one of the power generation units during the first RRT caused a temporary halt, prompting a cautious approach to the project's launch.

The RRT, which resumed on September 6, was completed successfully by September 13, 2024. However, the final confirmation of the COD is essential before any public inauguration can take place.
