Sikh pilgrims from around the world set to embark on a religious journey in Pakistan, visiting key Gurudwaras to celebrate Khalsa Janma Day and strengthen cultural ties.

Sikh pilgrims are set to arrive in Pakistan on April 13 to take part in the festivities of Khalsa Janma Day and Vasakhi Mela. The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), along with Pradhan and other Sikh leaders, will extend a warm welcome to the visitors. The focal event is scheduled to take place at Gurudwara Panja Sahib in Hasan Abdal on April 14.

Following this, the pilgrims will journey to Nankana Sahib from Hasan Abdal on April 15. Subsequently, on April 18, they will proceed to Gurudwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Narowal. The itinerary continues with a visit to Aimanabad on April 20, culminating in a stay in Lahore for a day.

This annual pilgrimage holds significant cultural and religious importance for the Sikh community, fostering a spirit of unity and devotion among its participants. The shared reverence for these sacred sites serves to strengthen the bonds between Pakistan and the Sikh diaspora.
