KP Governor Directs Relief for Displaced Persons in Kurram

PESHAWAR: The situation in Kurram, a Tribal District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has become increasingly dire as many individuals have been displaced due to ongoing clashes between local tribes. The humanitarian crisis has prompted urgent action from local authorities, particularly from the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi. In his directives, Governor Kundi called upon the Pakistan Red Crescent to extend all possible assistance to those affected by the displacement. In response to these directives, the Emergency Response Team of the Pakistan Red Crescent has been deployed to the areas of Hangu and Thall. Moreover, Governor Kundi has assured that food supplies for the displaced populations in Darsmand and Thall have been secured for the upcoming days.
