Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a nationwide education emergency, emphasizing the need to provide quality education to children from low-income families. The government plans to replicate the successful model of Daanish Schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Sindh, aiming to fulfill Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah's vision of accessible education for all.

The Prime Minister highlighted the injustice faced by children unable to access top-quality education due to financial constraints, stating that Daanish Schools would serve as inclusive alternatives. The upcoming Daanish School in Islamabad's Kuri area, spanning 30 acres and costing over Rs5 billion, will offer free education and accommodation to children from low-income backgrounds.

With 26 million out-of-school children deemed a national crisis, Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed the urgency of enrolling these children in schools to realize Pakistan's potential. The Daanish School initiative, rooted in Nawaz Sharif's vision, aims to bridge educational disparities and empower underprivileged youth.

Meanwhile, Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai urged the government to increase education spending to at least 4% of the GDP, emphasizing the critical role of education in empowering girls and fostering national development. The Malala Foundation's contributions to Pakistani education underscore the importance of prioritizing girls' education in the country's policy agenda.

As the government gears up to inaugurate Daanish Schools nationwide and enhance educational opportunities for all, the focus on inclusive and quality education remains paramount in shaping Pakistan's future.
