PRCS DIKhan Enhances CERT Training for Emergency Response

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) DIKhan recently organized a three-day training program for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) to enhance their ability to respond effectively during emergencies. The training, conducted in collaboration with government departments, particularly Rescue 1122, focused on equipping participants with essential skills in first aid, firefighting, search and rescue, and disaster preparedness.

The initiative, led by District Chairman PRCS and Deputy Commissioner DIKhan, Mansoor Arshad, highlighted the importance of community readiness in reducing the impact of disasters. Arshad stressed the value of such training in strengthening community resilience and preparedness.
