In response to this pressing issue, the Rawalpindi Police have taken decisive action to combat these illegal activities.

On Wednesday, the Rawalpindi Police conducted a successful operation that led to the arrest of three individuals involved in drug dealing and illegal arms possession. This operation is part of a larger crackdown aimed at ensuring the safety and security of the community. According to reports, the Civil Lines Police apprehended a suspect named Umar, from whom they recovered a 30 bore pistol. In a separate incident, the Wah Cantt Police arrested another individual, Habib, and seized a 9 mm pistol from his possession. Additionally, the Dhamyal Police conducted a raid that resulted in the recovery of 1.5 kg of drugs from a suspect identified as Irfanullah.

These arrests are not isolated incidents. The police have registered separate cases against each of the accused, and investigations are ongoing. The Divisional Superintendents of Police (SPs) have praised the swift actions of their teams, emphasizing that the crackdown on drug dealers and illegal arms holders will continue without any discrimination. This commitment to public safety is crucial in restoring trust within the community.

Moreover, the Morgah Police have also made strides in addressing street crimes. They arrested two members of a gang involved in such activities, identified as Faisal and Bilal. During their arrest, the police recovered stolen money amounting to Rs. 10,000 and a weapon, further highlighting the ongoing efforts to tackle crime in the area.

The recent operations by the Rawalpindi Police serve as a reminder of the importance of community safety and the relentless fight against crime. As law enforcement agencies continue to take action against drug dealers and illegal arms holders, it is essential for citizens to remain vigilant and support these efforts. Together, we can work towards a safer and more secure environment for everyone.
