SaeedGhani leads Local Government Commission in boundary dispute resolution

The recent meeting, led by SaeedGhani, Minister for Local Government, Housing, Town Planning, and Public Health Engineering, and Chairman of the Local Government Commission, highlighted the crucial need to maintain the integrity of town boundaries. The commission, under SaeedGhani's leadership, reiterated its commitment to upholding all rights in accordance with the constitution and laws. Key attendees at the meeting included Additional Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Khalid Hyder Shah, commission members, and other officials.

The primary focus of the meeting revolved around the boundary dispute between Korangi and Shah Faisal Towns. Provincial Election Commission members clarified that notifications issued by both the Sindh Government and the Election Commission regarding boundaries were in alignment. SaeedGhani stressed the significance of preserving the distinct boundaries of each town to avoid any confusion or disputes.

As a result of the discussions, it was agreed to postpone further deliberations on the matter until a judicial decision is reached and both towns consent to the commission's intervention. SaeedGhani emphasized the need for a collaborative approach to resolve the issue and protect the legitimate claims of the public. All participants pledged to take necessary actions in compliance with legal and constitutional obligations.
