SSP Khoso Enhances Security for Women at BISP Centers in Larkana

In recent times, the safety of women in public spaces has become a pressing concern, especially in areas where financial transactions take place. Recognizing this issue, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana, Mir Rohal Khan Khoso, has taken significant steps to enhance security measures at Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Centers. On November 18, 2024, SSP Khoso announced the deployment of 150 police officers, including women personnel, across 16 BISP centers located in the Larkana district. The centers are strategically located across four tehsils: Larkana, Ratodero, Bakrani, and Dokri, ensuring that women from various areas can access support easily.

The primary goal of this deployment is to facilitate transparent money transactions and provide a peaceful atmosphere for beneficiaries. By having a visible police presence, the SSP hopes to deter any potential misconduct or harassment that women might face while visiting these centers.
