China to Support Pakistan's Diamer Bhasha Dam Project

Pakistan has sought financial assistance from China to bridge the $3.5 billion funding gap for the Diamer Bhasha dam project. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the Ministry of Planning to incorporate the Diamer Basha dam project into the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
