Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mitiari Muhammad Yousuf Shaikh recently paid a visit to the educational institution 'Aghosh' near Bhit Shah, established by Al-Khidmat Foundation to cater to the education of orphans. During his visit, he interacted with the children and expressed the district administration's commitment to providing full support to the institution. Accompanying him were Additional Director Social Welfare Mitiari Rafique Jamali, Aaghosh’s Principal Arshad Javaid, Administrator Taha, and other officials.
The DC commended the educational environment, extracurricular activities, hostel and dining facilities, and overall cleanliness maintained at the institute. He pledged assistance from the district administration for enhancing the children's technical skills, vocational training, and other essential needs. Stressing that the care and education of orphaned children are a shared societal responsibility, Muhammad Yousuf Shaikh lauded 'Aaghosh' for its exemplary services in this regard. He engaged with the children, even playing cricket with them, and inquired about their educational progress and vocational training.
