Khyber Pakhtunkhwa residents are applauding a new initiative by Pakistan Railways Peshawar Division to launch a Safari Tourists train from Peshawar Cantt Railways Station to Attock Khurd. This move is being hailed as revolutionary and promising for the region.

The Safari Train will embark on a picturesque journey from Peshawar Cantt, passing through notable locations such as Peshawar City, Nowshera, and Jahangira before reaching Attock Khurd. The inclusion of the ancient bridge at Attock Khurd and a museum at the railway station adds a historical charm to the trip.

The primary aim of this tourist train is to boost tourism and showcase the rich heritage of railways, which plays a vital role in promoting tourism. En route, passengers will traverse through the tunnels of Khairabad and Attock Khurd, and cross the iconic old iron girder bridge over the Indus River to arrive at the historically significant Attock Khurd site.

For the convenience of tourists, food stalls will be available at Attock Khurd. The station itself is being lauded as one of the most beautiful in Asia, boasting a unique blend of history and aesthetics that make it a standout national tourism heritage site in Pakistan.

Residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have expressed their joy over this Safari train initiative, eagerly anticipating its inaugural journey from Peshawar Cantt. on April 14 at 9:00 a.m.
