PPP prepares for Foundation Day celebrations in Lahore, aiming to strengthen community ties and engage party workers.
Lahore - The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is gearing up for its Foundation Day celebrations, marking an important occasion in the party's history. This year, the festivities will take place in a public venue, breaking away from the traditional indoor settings. The decision to host the event outdoors reflects the party's desire to engage more directly with the public and strengthen its connection with the community.
As the preparations enter their final stages, the party's Monitoring Committee for Central Punjab has been actively involved in organizing the event. A report detailing the venue and other arrangements will be shared on the nights of November 29 and 30 at the offices of Dengi and across all district organizations of the PPP. This initiative aims to ensure that every member is informed and involved in the celebrations.
The meeting, chaired by Usman Malik, saw participation from key figures including Faiza Malik, Dr. Khayyam Hafeez, Dr. Ahsan Manzar, Imran Athwal, Khalid Butt, and Umar Sharif Bukhari. During this gathering, forms were distributed among members to facilitate the preparations for the Foundation Day. Usman Malik emphasized the importance of appointing a focal person for each district and division to streamline the organization of the event.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto will address the workers during the convention, delivering a message that aims to inspire and motivate the party's supporters. The goal is to re-establish Punjab as a stronghold for the Pakistan People’s Party, a vision that resonates deeply with the party's long-standing commitment to the region.
As the Foundation Day approaches, it is clear that the PPP is not just celebrating its past but is also looking towards the future. Engaging with the public in an open setting is a strategic move that could potentially rejuvenate the party's image and strengthen its grassroots support. The upcoming event is not just a celebration; it is a call to action for all party members to unite and work towards a common goal. In a time when political landscapes are constantly shifting, the PPP's efforts to connect with the community could prove to be a pivotal moment in its journey.
