President Chaudhry Urges Overseas Kashmiris to Oppose Modi's Agenda

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has urged overseas Kashmiris to come together and actively oppose Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's agenda in the region. In a recent meeting with various delegations of overseas Kashmiris, President Chaudhry highlighted the crucial role that expatriates can play in raising awareness about human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir. He emphasized the need to expose Modi's attempts to divert global attention from the atrocities in Kashmir through staged elections.

President Chaudhry encouraged Kashmiri expatriates, particularly those in the UK, to increase their political influence by supporting candidates of Pakistani and Kashmiri origin in upcoming elections. He stressed the importance of amplifying pro-Kashmir voices in the British Parliament, especially within the All-Parties Kashmir Committee, to strengthen advocacy for Kashmir's right to self-determination.

Furthermore, President Chaudhry urged overseas Kashmiris to consider investing in various sectors in Azad Kashmir, emphasizing the significance of a stable and prosperous Pakistan for the success of the Kashmiri freedom movement. He underlined the need for economic contributions alongside political activism to bolster the cause.

The meeting was graced by prominent overseas Kashmiris from different countries, including Zahid Iqbal Hashmi from France, Pir Shiraz Hussain from Ireland, Anjum Chauhan from the USA, and Sardar Mushtaq Khan from Sweden, showcasing the potential of the global diaspora to have a significant impact.

President Chaudhry's call for unity among overseas Kashmiris and his emphasis on countering Modi's agenda reflect the ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the situation in Kashmir. By advocating for political engagement, economic investment, and active participation in global forums, the President aims to strengthen the Kashmiri cause and amplify voices for self-determination.
