Shehryar Afridi of PTI criticizes PML-N for alleged remote control, emphasizing PTI's commitment to national progress through dialogues with military leadership. Despite PML-N's claims, PTI denies secret talks, highlighting deep-rooted political divisions in Pakistan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Shehryar Afridi emphasized the party's stance on prioritizing dialogues with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and the Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) over engaging with what he referred to as 'rejected rulers' who allegedly came to power through 'rigging'.

Afridi, speaking on a Geo News program, criticized the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, accusing them of being controlled remotely and reaching parliament through questionable means. He asserted that the ruling parties had backing from the establishment.

PTI founder Imran Khan's unwavering commitment to Pakistan's betterment was highlighted by Afridi, who stated that the party sought dialogue for national progress without any ulterior motives such as seeking a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

On the other hand, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry insinuated that PTI's dialogue stance was a facade to secure an NRO, claiming that the PTI was already engaged in talks while bluffing about it.

Despite calls for reconciliation from PML-N's Rana Sanaullah, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan clarified that no messages for dialogues had been received, and the party was not engaging in any secret talks.

The political landscape in Pakistan remains tense as PTI stands firm on its position to prioritize discussions with military leadership over engaging with what they perceive as illegitimate rulers. The back-and-forth between PTI and PML-N underscores the deep-rooted divisions within the country's political sphere, with dialogue and reconciliation efforts facing significant hurdles.
