A crucial meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council in Islamabad focuses on significant investment commitments from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with Governor Kundi mediating between political parties for economic development and international partnerships.

Today, a significant meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) apex committee is scheduled to take place in Islamabad, Pakistan's capital city. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to the meeting, following the intervention of KP's governor, Faisal Karim Kundi. Initially, Gandapur was not among the chief ministers invited by the prime minister, but Barrister Saif has confirmed that the invitation has been received by the chief minister. Governor Kundi, a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, is working towards mediating between the PMLN-led government and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.

The primary focus of the meeting is expected to be on investment commitments from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The UAE has allocated $10 billion for investments in Pakistan, while Saudi Arabia has pledged $5 billion for immediate investment, with a potential allocation towards the Reko Diq gold and copper mines project.

The meeting of the SIFC apex committee holds great importance for Pakistan's economic development, with substantial investment commitments from key allies like Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This collaboration signifies a positive step towards enhancing Pakistan's economic growth and fostering stronger international partnerships.
