Advisor Zahid Chanzeb emphasizes performance rewards for officials, plans to enhance tourism facilities and infrastructure in Mansehra to boost economic activity and improve visitor experience.

In a recent meeting held in Mansehra, Zahid Chanzeb, the Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tourism and Culture, emphasized the importance of performance in government officials. He stated that officers and employees demonstrating excellent performance will not be transferred, while those failing to deliver will face removal from their positions.

Chanzeb reiterated the government's commitment to promoting tourism in Mansehra and addressing local issues promptly. The meeting, attended by various officials including Deputy Commissioner Mansehra and DPO Mansehra, focused on enhancing facilities for tourists in the upcoming tourism season.

Key decisions made during the meeting included the placement of tourism police and motorcycles under district administration at tourist spots, ensuring patrolling in collaboration with traffic police, and minimizing vehicle challans during the tourism season. Additionally, efforts will be made to improve the overall environment in Mansehra to attract more tourists, boost business, and encourage investment in the tourism industry.

Furthermore, directives were issued to enhance infrastructure by converting streetlights and power appliances to solar systems, setting up Rescue 1122 and Health Department facilitation desks at tourist entry points, and ensuring round-the-clock emergency services in local health facilities.

The meeting also addressed road maintenance, accident prevention at Panu Interchange, and the resolution of NOC issues on Mandi to Mali Road. Plans were discussed to clear Jheel Road up to Lake Saiful Maluk for all traffic, with reconstruction tenders soon to be advertised.

Overall, the government's focus on improving tourism facilities and infrastructure in Mansehra aims to enhance the visitor experience, boost economic activity, and elevate the region's tourism industry.
