Minister Faisal Khokhar Inaugurates Modern Sports Facilities

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, recently visited Shahkot city in district Nankana Sahib to inaugurate a modern Sports Gymnasium Hall and multipurpose Sports Stadium. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several officials including DG Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal and Divisional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Anjum.

During his address to the media, Minister Faisal Khokhar highlighted the significance of these new sports facilities, emphasizing that it marks the beginning of a new era in sports development across the province. He mentioned that under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, more than 300 mega sports complexes will be established, with a focus on constructing 100 new sports complexes in areas lacking such facilities and rehabilitating 200 existing complexes.

Expressing her commitment to sports development, CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz is actively supporting the establishment of top-level sports facilities to promote a culture of sports among the youth. DG Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal also emphasized the importance of these modern sports facilities, encouraging the talented youth to make full use of them to enhance their sports skills.

The new sports facilities in Shahkot are expected to provide a significant boost to the local sports scene, offering a platform for young athletes to hone their talents and pursue their sporting aspirations.
