The recently concluded Asian Junior Squash Championship in Islamabad showcased Pakistan's dominance in the sport, with four finalists and growing potential in the squash community.

The recently concluded Asian Junior Squash Championship held at the Mushaf Sports Complex in Islamabad showcased Pakistan's dominance in the sport, with four Pakistani players securing spots in the finals across different age categories.

In the Boys U-13 category, teammates Huzaifa Shahid and Sohail Adnan will battle it out for the title in the upcoming finals. Additionally, Abdullah Nawaz will represent Pakistan in the U-17 finals against Malaysia’s Nikhileswar Moganasundharam, while Hamza Khan, last year's world champion, will compete in the U-19 category against Malaysia’s Harith Danial.

While Pakistani male players displayed exceptional skills, no Pakistani girls managed to reach the semi-finals in the tournament, which featured participants from around 200 players representing various countries in age categories ranging from U-13 to U-19.

Earlier this month, the Ali sisters contributed significantly to Pakistan’s success at the PBA 20th Penang Malaysia Junior Open. Sohail and Huzaifa secured victories in their respective categories, showcasing Pakistan's talent on the international stage.

The semi-final matches witnessed intense competition between Pakistan and Malaysia, with players from both countries showcasing their skills. Despite some losses, Pakistani players demonstrated their competitive spirit and determination throughout the championship.
