The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced a lucrative incentive for the national team ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. Each player stands to earn $100,000 if Pakistan emerges victorious in the upcoming tournament scheduled to start in June. Naqvi made this declaration during a luncheon hosted for the team at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium before their tours of Ireland and England.

The Pakistan team is currently in a three-day training camp in Lahore, starting on May 6, before departing for Dublin, Ireland on May 7. They are slated to play a three-match T20I series against Ireland from May 10 to May 14, followed by a four-match T20I series against England starting on May 22. The squad, initially comprising 18 members, will be trimmed to 15 after the first T20I against England to meet the ICC's May 24 team announcement deadline.

During his interaction with the team, Naqvi emphasized the importance of playing without pressure and exhibiting relentless competitiveness on the field. Naqvi also assured prompt resolution of any issues faced by the players, underscoring his support for the team's success.

Additionally, Naqvi recognized the achievements of wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan and pacer Naseem Shah for reaching milestones in the T20 format. Rizwan surpassed 3,000 runs, while Shah achieved 100 wickets, earning special jerseys from the PCB chairman.

In conclusion, with the PCB's generous incentive, strategic guidance, and unwavering support, the Pakistan cricket team is gearing up for the T20 World Cup 2024 with determination and unity, aiming to make the nation proud on the global stage.
