The 'She Loves Tech Pakistan 2024' competition in Lahore, organized by CIRCLE Women Association and LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship, provides a platform for women-led startups to showcase innovative ideas. With distinguished guests and industry experts in attendance, this initiative empowers women in technology and fosters diversity in the startup ecosystem.

The 'She Loves Tech Pakistan 2024' competition recently kicked off its Lahore City round at the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship. This event, co-organized by CIRCLE Women Association and LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship, is in its eighth successful year in Pakistan. The competition aims to provide a platform for women-led startups to showcase their innovative ideas and compete for a spot in the National Finale scheduled for August.

Out of the numerous quality applications received, 15 innovative startups were shortlisted in Lahore. Nine startups presented their ideas in person, while five participated virtually. The winners of the Lahore city round will now advance to the National Finale, where they will have the opportunity to compete against other talented entrepreneurs.

The event was graced by distinguished guests such as Ahsan Chugtai and Farid Malik, both board members of renowned organizations. Additionally, a panel discussion featuring industry experts like Dr. Sheharyar Shahid, Sadaf Tajammal, and Sadaffe Abid provided valuable insights to the aspiring entrepreneurs present at the event.

CIRCLE Women introduced 'She Loves Tech' to Pakistan in 2017, bringing a global platform that empowers women in technology. This initiative, conducted in over 70 countries, offers women the chance to showcase their ideas, network with industry leaders, and access essential mentorship opportunities.
