Viettel High Tech and UTL Group Partner for 5G System in India

Viettel High Technology Industries Corporation (Viettel High Tech) has recently inked a significant deal with United Telecoms Limited (UTL Group) to roll out a Private 5G System in India. UTL Group, a key player in the Indian telecommunications sector, holds a dominant position in the government communication segment with over 60% market share.

This partnership highlights Viettel High Tech's strong presence in the competitive Indian market. By collaborating with UTL Group, Viettel aims to tap into new customer segments, especially government clients, leveraging UTL's vast customer network across 60 countries and territories in telecommunications, IT, R&D, and e-Government.

UTL Group, known for its leadership in mobile services and digital government initiatives in India, is spearheading the demand for 5G Private solutions in the country. Dr. Raja Mohan Rao Potluri, Chairman of UTL Group, emphasized the commitment to delivering value to customers through Viettel's comprehensive 5G connectivity solution.

Mr. Nguyen Vu Ha, CEO of Viettel, highlighted the company's expertise in telecom equipment provision and tailored 5G solutions, backed by a successful track record in large-scale projects. Viettel's flexibility and technological capabilities position them as a strong contender for international ventures.

Viettel is set to deliver the 5G system to UTL within a swift 3-month timeframe, ensuring seamless integration and rapid market entry. Notably, Viettel previously led the deployment of India's first complete 5G Private network, delivering it to partners within just 5 months of contract signing, driving 5G adoption among enterprise customers.
