Russian Strikes in Ukraine Result in Fatalities and Injuries

Recent Russian strikes in the southern Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine have resulted in three fatalities and 20 injuries, according to Ukrainian officials. The attacks caused significant damage, with a five-story building in Dnipro catching fire and partially collapsing. Governor Sergiy Lysak reported that six individuals were injured, and there are concerns about potential casualties trapped under the rubble.

The assault also targeted the Kryvyi Rig district, where two men and a woman sustained injuries at an infrastructure facility. In total, two people lost their lives and 15 were wounded in the strike on the building. Additionally, a separate attack in the Synelnykivskyi area led to the death of a woman and injuries to two others, including a 14-year-old girl.

Across the border in the Russian region of Belgorod, Ukrainian drones were reportedly shot down, with 25 drones intercepted while targeting the main city. Although no casualties were reported, several buildings suffered damage as a result of the attacks.

The escalation of violence in the southern regions of Ukraine underscores the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, resulting in tragic loss of life and destruction of property.
