Balochistan Chief Minister Bugti announces a development plan for Quetta, including a public-private partnership model for Circular Road Parking Plaza and future walking streets declaration.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has announced a comprehensive plan to operate the Circular Road Parking Plaza in Quetta on a public-private partnership model. This initiative aims to efficiently utilize resources and generate more revenue for the development of the city.

During his visit to the Circular Road Parking Plaza, CM Bugti revealed that the seventh-floor parking plaza would soon be made operational in the Circular Road area. He highlighted that the plaza had already generated around one million rupees last month. Additionally, plans are underway to establish a hotel on the top floor of the parking plaza through the public-private partnership model, with an urgent installation of a lift.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister took strict action by suspending the Executive Engineer (Xen) responsible for incomplete construction works at the parking plaza. Bugti emphasized the need for an inquiry into the matter. The government also intends to create another parking plaza at the old meat market space to address roadside parking issues and provide safer parking options for commuters.

CM Bugti outlined future plans to declare Kandhari Bazaar, Jinnah Road, and surrounding roads as walking streets. He stressed the importance of enhancing traffic management, drainage, and sewerage systems in Quetta to improve the city's overall environment and address public concerns.

In a final note, Bugti expressed concern over the non-payment of rent for government-leased properties, specifically mentioning the Baldia cafe, which has not submitted rent for the past seven months. He urged prompt action to rectify this issue and ensure compliance with rent agreements.
