CDA Chairman Randhawa and ICCI delegation discuss business community involvement and clean water concerns for sustainable development in Islamabad.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman, Mohammad Ali Randhawa, recently met with a delegation from the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to discuss the crucial role of the business community in the development of the Capital. During the meeting, Chairman Randhawa highlighted the importance of actively involving the business sector in decision-making processes to drive the city's progress.

Randhawa expressed confidence in overcoming development challenges by implementing best practices. He announced plans to visit the Chamber House to gain a deeper understanding of the issues faced by the business community. The Chairman also committed to personally visiting various markets, meeting with trade leaders, and promptly addressing their concerns through relevant authorities.

President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari of ICCI welcomed Chairman Randhawa and his team, focusing on key issues affecting the business community. Bakhtawari took the initiative to address clean drinking water concerns by installing water filtration plants in markets. He extended an invitation to Randhawa to visit ICCI, which was promptly accepted to better grasp community challenges.

Group leader Khalid Iqbal Malik commended Randhawa for extending the operating hours of the 'One Window' service, recognizing its positive impact on visitor convenience. Former ICCI President Zafar Bakhtawari pledged the business community's support in resolving their issues. Various ICCI members, including Vice President Eng. Azhar ul Islam Zafar and former President Mohammad Ejaz Abbasi, expressed their support and greeted the CDA Chairman warmly.

The meeting between CDA Chairman Randhawa and the ICCI delegation underscored the collaborative efforts needed for the sustainable development of the Capital. By engaging with the business community and addressing their concerns, both parties aim to foster a conducive environment for economic growth and prosperity in Islamabad.
