Karachi: Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan

The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a significant increase on Monday, with a rise of Rs2,500 per tola. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), the price of gold per tola in the country now stands at Rs240,500, marking a notable surge. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also seen an increase of Rs2,143, reaching Rs206,190. This surge in gold prices is reflective of the global trend, as the price of gold in the world market has also climbed by 21 dollars to 2302 dollars per ounce.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, on May 4, gold prices had experienced a significant drop, falling by Rs1,600 to Rs238,000 per tola in the country's bullion markets.

The recent surge in gold prices in Pakistan, in line with the global market trend, indicates a fluctuating pattern in the precious metal's value. Investors and consumers alike will need to closely monitor these price movements to make informed decisions regarding gold transactions and investments.
