JinkoSolar and kIEFER Partner for Sustainable Energy Solution

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., a prominent solar module manufacturer, has joined forces with kIEFER to supply large-scale battery storage, SunTera, to Athens International Airport (AIA). This collaboration is in line with AIA's objective of achieving Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2025. Once the project is finalized, AIA will operate one of the largest self-consumption systems in an airport globally, making it the first International Airport to achieve 100% self-consumption. This initiative also marks the installation of the first utility-scale storage system connected to a photovoltaic system in Greece.
