In the first ten months of fiscal year 2023-24, motorcycle and three-wheeler sales in Pakistan declined by 6.49%. Honda and Suzuki saw significant drops, while United Auto three-wheeler sales increased.

In the first ten months of the fiscal year 2023-24, the sale of motorbikes and three-wheelers in Pakistan experienced a 6.49% decrease compared to the same period last year. A total of 941,406 units were sold from July to April 2023-24, down from 1,006,839 units in the previous year.

Breaking down the numbers, Honda motorcycle sales dropped by 2.78% to 819,752 units, Suzuki motorcycle sales decreased significantly by 51.55% to 13,610 units, Yamaha motorbike sales went down to 5,824 units, and Road Prince motorbike sales declined by 45%. United Auto motorcycle sales also saw a decrease of 15.33% to 69,480 units.

On the other hand, United Auto three-wheeler sales bucked the trend by increasing 57.09% to 1,948 units, while Sazgar three-wheeler sales grew by 35.88% to 11,234 units. However, Qingqi three-wheeler sales decreased by 19.87% to 4,740 units, and Road Prince three-wheeler sales dropped by 26.87% to 1,099 units.

The overall sales of motorbikes and three-wheelers in Pakistan have shown a decline in the current fiscal year. This trend highlights the changing consumer preferences and economic conditions affecting the automotive industry in the country.
