The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in Peshawar has been rocked by a major scandal involving significant financial and administrative irregularities. This has led to the suspension of the chamber's secretary general, Sajjad Aziz, and the recovery of Rs5 million from Amjad Ali, the deputy secretary of the visa section.

Following the discovery of these irregularities, President Fuad Ishaq took swift action by suspending Sajjad Aziz and forming a high-level inquiry committee to investigate the matter. The committee, headed by Fuad Ishaq and comprising prominent members of the chamber, conducted a thorough investigation into the financial and administrative discrepancies.

During an executive committee meeting, President Fuad Ishaq presented an initial probe report detailing the irregularities and the recovery of funds.
