LCCI President Anwar Praises Chinese Consulate Support

The President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Kashif Anwar, recently lauded the unwavering support from the Chinese Consulate in Lahore. Anwar expressed gratitude for the friendship award bestowed upon LCCI by the Chinese Consul General, marking a significant milestone in their strong partnership, a first of its kind in Pakistan.

At a certificate distribution event for participants of a Chinese language course at LCCI, Anwar emphasized the importance of nurturing relations with neighboring countries. He advocated for leveraging Chinese technology and raw materials to boost Pakistan's exports, highlighting China's consistent backing for Pakistan's economic growth.

Following Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's recent visit to China, where multiple Memorandums of Understanding were signed to attract more Chinese investments, Anwar announced the extension of the Chinese language course at LCCI to further enhance participants' skills.

Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren, a guest at the ceremony, underscored the role of language in fostering mutual understanding. Shiren urged the Pakistani government to consider incorporating Chinese into the national curriculum, recognizing its increasing global significance. He commended the strong collaboration between LCCI and the Chinese consulate, praising President Kashif Anwar's leadership that led to the friendship award and assuring continued support for Chinese language education.
