stc Group named best workplace in Saudi Arabia by LinkedIn

Telecommunications giant stc Group has been recognized as the best workplace in Saudi Arabia by professional networking platform LinkedIn. The company topped the list, followed by Red Sea Global and Saudi Arabian Oil Co. in second and third place, respectively. Ceer, ROSHN, and Riyad Bank also secured spots in the top six.

LinkedIn's annual list, based on data from its platform, aims to help professionals identify top workplaces for career growth. The rankings highlight organizations that excel in providing learning opportunities, promoting equity, and fostering a strong company culture.

In the UAE, business consulting firm Bain & Co. claimed the top spot, with Mastercard and Procter & Gamble following closely behind. The lists reflect the region's growth as a business hub, with companies in both Saudi Arabia and the UAE expanding their operations.

SEVEN, a prominent entertainment company in Saudi Arabia, made it to the top ten list, signaling the sector's growth in the Kingdom. Similarly, entertainment companies Miral and SEVEN ranked among the top 15 in both countries, showcasing the rise of the entertainment industry in the region.

The survey revealed that a significant number of professionals in the region are considering job changes this year, with the UAE experiencing increased hiring activity over the past year. stc Group reported a 9% increase in net profit in 2023, reaching SR13.3 billion, attributed to a substantial rise in revenues.
