The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore extends interim bails for 34 accused, including Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, in the Jinnah House attack case. Aleema Khan highlights public protests and Imran Khan's directives, emphasizing the importance of a thorough investigation.
In Lahore, the interim bails of 34 accused, which include the sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, along with opposition leader Omar Ayub, have been extended in the Jinnah House attack case. The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore presided over the hearing of the bail applications on Saturday. The duty judge, Arshad Javed, listened to the pleas, with Aleema and Uzma appearing before the court as their interim bail had expired.
The court decided to extend the interim bail of all 34 accused, including the PTI founder's sisters, until May 21. The investigating officer was instructed to present a comprehensive investigation report at the next hearing.
Speaking to the media outside the court, Aleema Khan mentioned the public demonstrations against oppression on February 8 and April 21. She highlighted that Imran Khan had urged lawyers to safeguard Form-45 and obtain Form-47 without any irregularities.
The extension of interim bail for the accused in the Jinnah House attack case, including prominent figures like Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, indicates ongoing legal proceedings and the importance of a thorough investigation. The statements made by Aleema Khan regarding public protests and Imran Khan's directives to lawyers add layers to the complexity of the case.
