Infantry Rifle Company Exchange Exercise-2024 Strengthens Anti-Terrorism Capabilities

Pakistan and the United States have kicked off the Infantry Rifle Company Exchange Exercise-2024, a specialized training program designed to enhance tactical skills in combating terrorism at the sub-unit level. This two-week-long exercise is being held at the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Pabbi and involves Infantry companies from both countries.

The main goal of this exchange is to share knowledge and experiences in counter-terrorism efforts and to refine essential procedures for such operations. Participants will concentrate on improving marksmanship skills in urban warfare by adopting and practicing best practices at the sub-unit level.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of the General Officer Commanding Kharian Garrison, underscoring the significance of this collaborative endeavor. Both Islamabad and Washington are dedicated to collaborating in addressing the terrorism threat, with a specific focus on enhancing regional security and stability in Afghanistan.
