Constable Abbassi's Heroic Sacrifice in Ghotki Bandit Attack

In the Larkana division, a tragic incident unfolded at the Mubarak Lakhan check-post in Ghotki district, where bandits launched a deadly attack. Constable Sahib Dino Abbassi lost his life heroically confronting the assailants, while another officer, Syed Ismail Shah, sustained injuries. The bandits also abducted Abdul Fateh Sangi and seized all weapons from the check-post.

DIG Sukkur Pir Muhammad Shah, in the face of adversity, praised the courage of the police force and highlighted Abbassi's bravery. SSP Sumer Noor Channa swiftly led a pursuit of the criminals, resulting in a confrontation in the riverbed area.

Despite the valiant efforts, the abducted officer remained in captivity by the day's end. Officer Shah recounted the harrowing attack, underscoring the dangers faced by law enforcement. This incident marks the third assault on police check-posts in the region this month, underscoring the persistent challenges.

While the Sindh police continue their fight against crime, these attacks underscore the ongoing struggles faced by law enforcement in the area.
