Police Constable Asad Ali Shoro Injured in Encounter

In Hyderabad, a police constable named Asad Ali Shoro was injured in an incident involving suspected vehicle lifters. The unfortunate event took place in the jurisdiction of Rahuki police station on a Saturday. Shoro, along with another officer, was on his way to his village when they encountered three criminals on Bhando Sharif link road.

The criminals attempted to snatch from them, but Shoro, ignoring their signals to stop, continued riding his motorbike. This led the snatchers to open fire on the officers, who were in plain clothes at the time. Shoro was struck by a bullet in the back, and although he fired back in self-defense, the culprits managed to escape. Thankfully, Shoro's companion escaped unharmed. Shoro was rushed to Liaquat University Hospital for surgery to treat his gunshot wound.
