In Hassanabdal town, Attock, a heartbreaking event unfolded on Monday, resulting in the untimely death of a man due to a dispute over money. The unfortunate incident stemmed from a disagreement between two individuals, Jallal and Shoukat, regarding payment for wheat harvesting services.
Shoukat, who had been hired by Jallal for wheat harvesting at a daily rate of Rs 1,500, demanded his wages, sparking a heated argument between the two parties. Regrettably, the situation took a violent turn, culminating in Jallal fatally injuring Shoukat with a knife before fleeing from the scene.
Subsequent to the tragic occurrence, law enforcement authorities promptly launched an investigation into the matter. The victim's body was transferred to the tehsil headquarters hospital for a postmortem examination. A case of murder has been officially filed, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the perpetrator.
