Authorities in Faisalabad, under the leadership of FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, are cracking down on encroachment in residential and commercial areas to reclaim public spaces and maintain urban order.

Authorities in Faisalabad have initiated a crackdown against encroachment in residential colonies and commercial markets as per the directives of Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry. The anti-encroachment teams have been actively conducting operations in various areas to curb this illegal practice.

Recently, operations were carried out in Islam Nagar and Jail Road where items belonging to shopkeepers were seized. Additionally, 20 shopkeepers have been issued challans and are set to face legal action in court. This move aims to reclaim public spaces and ensure that urban areas are free from unauthorized structures and encroachments.

Encroachment poses a serious challenge to urban planning and development, leading to congestion, safety hazards, and a decline in the overall aesthetic appeal of the city. By cracking down on encroachment, authorities are taking a proactive step towards maintaining order and preserving the integrity of public spaces in Faisalabad.
