ISPR Announces Successful IBO in Lakki Marwat

Security forces have successfully carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat district, resulting in the elimination of 11 terrorists linked to the tragic deaths of seven Pakistan Army soldiers. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced the operation following a recent Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion that claimed the lives of soldiers, including Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas and Subedar Major Muhammad Nazir.

During the operation, security forces engaged the terrorists' location, leading to the neutralization of the 11 terrorists and the discovery of multiple terrorist hideouts. A thorough sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure the complete eradication of any remaining terrorists in the area, showcasing the unwavering commitment of the security forces in combating terrorism.

In a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province last month, security forces successfully neutralized a total of 23 terrorists. These operations included engagements in various districts such as Hassan Khel, Peshawar district, Tank district, and Bagh, Khyber district. The operations resulted in the elimination of terrorists, destruction of hideouts, and the seizure of a significant amount of weapons and explosives.
