Bazm-e-Rooh Rihan pays tribute to Tariq Ashraf, a significant figure in Sindhi literature, highlighting his contributions and legacy during a literary session in Hyderabad.

Bazm-e-Rooh Rihan, a literary organization, paid tribute to the late Tariq Ashraf, a renowned story writer and Editor of 'Sohni' Magazine, on the occasion of his 32nd death anniversary during its weekly literary session in Hyderabad. Tariq Ashraf, a significant figure in Sindh Literature, was known for his unique style of narrating modern, resistance, and creative literature through Sohni Magazine. Saleem Channa, a respected story writer and Novelist, highlighted Ashraf's literary contributions, emphasizing that his work will be remembered for years to come. Channa also mentioned that Ashraf was the only editor who faced imprisonment for his commitment to truth in his writing.

Gul Sher Korejo, another writer, praised Ashraf's self-esteem and stressed the importance of having intellectuals like him in Sindhi literature today. Wahid Kandhro, the Secretary General of Bazm-e-Rooh Rihan, acknowledged Ashraf's role in nurturing Sindhi Literature through Sohni Magazine and suggested re-publishing memorable editorials from the magazine. Writers Juman Ansari and Aziz Channa also shared their thoughts on the legacy of Tariq Ashraf during the session.
