Recently, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Park Ki Jun, and a delegation from South Korean companies to strengthen ties between the two nations. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in various fields, reflecting the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and South Korea.

Minister Hussain highlighted the existing collaborations in the economy and culture sectors, emphasizing the government's commitment to resolving challenges faced by Korean companies operating in Pakistan promptly. He also shared details about the Automotive Industry Development and Export Plan (AIDEP 21-26), which aims to attract investment in the automobile sector, leading to the establishment of 13 new manufacturers assembling renowned automobile brands locally.

Moreover, the government's efforts to boost industrial growth through initiatives like setting up Industrial Parks and Special Economic Zones, in addition to the incentives offered under CPEC, were discussed.
