An unfortunate incident occurred late on Eid-ul-Fitr night near the Hub area of Balochistan, resulting in the loss of 17 lives and leaving around 50 individuals injured. The accident involved a truck carrying pilgrims to the revered Shah Noorani shrine. The victims were swiftly transported to the Karachi Trauma Centre for necessary medical attention and legal procedures.

Reports indicate that the tragedy unfolded when a truck, transporting pilgrims from Thatta, veered off the road and fell into a ditch in the Hub area en route to the Shah Noorani shrine in Khuzdar, Balochistan. The prompt response from authorities and rescue teams led to the efficient evacuation of the victims, with 15 of the deceased already identified.

Saad Edhi, a dedicated social worker, highlighted that news of the accident was received at 11 pm, triggering a rapid rescue operation that concluded within two hours. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah personally visited the injured at the Civil Hospital’s Trauma Centre, confirming the tragic loss of 17 lives and providing updates on the injured passengers' conditions.

As the medical teams continue to provide care, efforts are focused on ensuring the best possible treatment for the injured individuals. The CM emphasized the critical condition of five patients on ventilators and mentioned that specialized care is being extended to two injured children at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH).
