Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi takes a strong stance on law and constitution, rejecting NRO for PTI and urging action on terrorism and governance issues in the region.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has made a firm declaration regarding the adherence to the law and constitution, ruling out any possibility of a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. This statement comes in the wake of PTI's founding chairman Imran Khan's imprisonment and the party's recent activities.

Governor Kundi has categorically rejected the idea of engaging in discussions with PTI, citing the party's lack of legitimacy as a political entity. He has criticized Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for the surge in terrorist activities and the deteriorating governance standards, underscoring the prevailing chaos in the province.

In response to Gandapur's threats of leading a march to Islamabad, Governor Kundi has asserted that such maneuvers are merely aimed at safeguarding Gandapur's own interests. He has expressed full confidence in his constitutional authority to safeguard the Governor's House in Peshawar.

Furthermore, Governor Kundi has urged Chief Minister Gandapur to address the worsening law and order situation in their mutual district of Dera Ismail Khan. He has highlighted the negative repercussions of allowing Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) members to relocate to southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during Imran Khan's leadership, leading to a resurgence of terrorism in the region.

The firm stance taken by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi underscores the importance of upholding the rule of law and the constitution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His unwavering commitment to maintaining order and stability in the face of political challenges sets a crucial precedent for governance in the region. As the situation unfolds, it remains imperative for all stakeholders to prioritize the well-being and security of the province above all else.
