The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan officials emphasize non-interference, education priorities, and youth empowerment to promote sovereignty and societal progress.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan officials recently made significant statements regarding the country's stance on external interference and the importance of education. Abdul Salam Hanafi, the deputy prime minister for administrative affairs, reiterated the commitment to non-interference in other countries' internal affairs while warning against external meddling in Afghanistan. Hanafi emphasized that any country attempting to interfere in Afghanistan would face reciprocal actions, citing the defense of Afghanistan's rights under Islamic and international laws.

Addressing concerns about religious schools, Hanafi dismissed them as unfounded and stressed the equal importance of universities and schools. He criticized neighboring countries for unwarranted fears about schools, assuring that Afghanistan would not tolerate such misconceptions.

Neda Mohammad Nadim, the acting Minister of Higher Education, highlighted the necessity of both religious and modern sciences for societal development. He pledged the Islamic Emirate's dedication to advancing education in both fields for the nation's benefit.

Khairullah Khairkhwa, the acting Minister of Information and Culture, underlined the significance of empowering Afghan youth. He mentioned the ongoing efforts by the Islamic Emirate to enhance capacities and create employment opportunities within the country.

The administrative deputy of the Prime Minister's Office reiterated the focus on strengthening educational institutions to achieve self-sufficiency in Afghanistan. Notably, Kabul University recognized and commended approximately 60 scholars and exceptional students from various educational institutions during a recent event.

The statements from Islamic Emirate officials reflect a commitment to upholding Afghanistan's sovereignty and promoting education as a key driver of societal progress.
