Maulana Fazlur Rehman Declares Freedom Movement to Restore Democracy

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has declared his party's intention to save the country by initiating a freedom movement aimed at dismantling the 'imposed system' and reinstating 'real democracy'. Speaking at an organisational meeting in Peshawar, Fazl criticized the current governance as being led by 'fake assemblies' and alleged that the recent general elections were marred by rigging.

Fazl announced that the JUI-F's future action plan would be unveiled on May 9 in Peshawar. He emphasized the party's historical stance against election manipulation, citing instances from 1977, 2018, and the most recent 2024 elections. The JUI-F chief questioned the silence of past critics of rigging, hinting at the PML-N, and accused those in power of gaining their positions through unfair means.

Highlighting the country's political and economic challenges over the past 76 years, Fazl reiterated the party's commitment to launching a freedom movement to restore genuine democracy by dismantling the current system. He announced upcoming public gatherings in Quetta, Karachi, and Peshawar to expose alleged conspiracies against the nation.

Fazl also condemned the atrocities in Gaza, pledging the JUI-F's solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. He drew attention to India's aspirations for global dominance juxtaposed with Pakistan's financial struggles, underscoring the party's mission to break free from forces perpetuating the country's 'slavery'.
