Opposition Criticizes Defence Minister's Cross-Border Strike Remarks

Senior opposition figures in the National Assembly have strongly criticized Defence Minister Khawaja Asif's recent statement suggesting the possibility of Pakistan conducting cross-border strikes into Afghanistan to target terrorists. The opposition has condemned Asif's remarks as reckless and potentially destabilizing, calling for a formal apology. Opposition Leader Omar Ayub Khan expressed concerns that Asif's statement could escalate tensions and reignite terrorism, undermining regional stability.
