Today, by-elections are being held in Pakistan to fill 21 vacant seats in the national and provincial assemblies. The Election Commission of Pakistan has organized polling for 5 National Assembly seats, 12 Punjab Assembly seats, 2 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly seats, and 2 Balochistan Assembly seats.
