The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) swiftly allocates Rs 80 million for relief efforts in rain-affected districts of Peshawar, demonstrating the government's commitment to supporting vulnerable populations during natural disasters.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has taken swift action in response to the recent heavy rains that have affected the merged districts of Peshawar. On the directive of the provincial government, PDMA has allocated a total of Rs 80 million for relief efforts in the affected areas.

Director of PDMA, Sobia Hassam, announced that the funds have been disbursed as follows: Rs 20 million each to North and South Waziristan, Rs 5 million to Kurram, Rs 15 million to Khyber, and Rs 10 million each to Mohmand and Bajaur districts. This financial assistance aims to support the district administrations in providing relief to the communities impacted by the heavy rainfall.

The release of these funds underscores the government's commitment to addressing the immediate needs of the affected regions and ensuring that necessary resources are available for disaster response and recovery efforts.
