PPP launches 'Hoist the Party Flag' campaign in Punjab to strengthen its presence and engage grassroots supporters.

Lahore - The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has recently initiated a campaign titled “Hoist the Party Flag” in Punjab. This campaign aims to strengthen the party's presence in the province and is set to run until November 30. Under the guidance of PPP Central Punjab President Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, the initiative will see party flags raised at the homes of at least ten party officials and workers each day.

As part of this campaign, PPP Central Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza took the lead by hoisting the party flag at the residences of several party workers, including Mehr Siddique, Sharjeel Younas, Ilyas Shah, and Mehr Muhammad Ashiq. These events took place in various localities such as Rehman Gardens, Defence, and Green Town Bagrian. The presence of notable PPP leaders like Faisal Mir, Dr. Khayyam Hafeez, Zeeshan Shami, Shahbaz Durani, Luqman Jatt, Mehr Waheed, Shahbaz Golo, and Naseem Sabir added significance to the occasion.

During his address to the gathered workers, Hassan Murtaza emphasized the party's commitment to raising flags in public spaces across 26 districts in Central Punjab. He expressed optimism about the PPP's growing strength in the region, confidently stating that the next Prime Minister of Pakistan will be Bilawal Bhutto, and the next Chief Minister of Punjab will be a PPP worker.

This campaign not only aims to boost the visibility of the PPP but also seeks to engage party workers and supporters at the grassroots level. By encouraging the display of party flags, the PPP is fostering a sense of unity and pride among its members. Such initiatives are crucial in the lead-up to elections, as they help to galvanize support and create a strong party presence in the community.

The “Hoist the Party Flag” campaign represents a strategic move by the PPP to solidify its influence in Punjab. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the effectiveness of such grassroots initiatives will be pivotal in determining the party's success in future elections. The enthusiasm displayed by party leaders and workers alike reflects a renewed commitment to the PPP's vision and goals, making it an exciting time for the party and its supporters.
