PTI Chairman Criticizes Government's Handling of Election Matters

In a recent development, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has raised concerns over the government's approach towards election-related matters. The PTI leader expressed disappointment over the government's neglect of crucial issues and its response to a resolution passed by the US House of Representatives.

The PTI Chairman emphasized the vital role of the opposition in a democracy and criticized the current government for undermining this role. He pointed out the government's reluctance to investigate election concerns and clarified that the US resolution should not be viewed as interference in Pakistan's internal affairs.

Moreover, the PTI leader voiced his dissatisfaction at not being consulted regarding the US resolution in the National Assembly. Specifically, he called out the Defence Minister for making detrimental statements without proper consultation, which he believes has harmed Pakistan's international reputation.

The PTI Chairman also strongly denounced the punitive measures taken against the opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly, including the withdrawal of his vehicle, office, and staff. PTI firmly opposed these actions, highlighting the need for fair treatment of all political parties.

Recently, the National Assembly addressed the US House of Representatives' resolution, expressing concerns about remarks regarding Pakistani votes in the upcoming elections. The National Assembly reiterated Pakistan's sovereignty and independence, rejecting any external interference in the country's internal affairs.
